Not easy to see, but this is a bunch of "cuddy ducks" or St Cuthbert's Ducks as the common Eider Duck [Somateria mollissima] is known in this area.

The view from the carpark, brutalist containers are a fairly recent addition, preventing a view of the nearby rocks. [I think they are storage for the fishing fleet]
The light grey "shed" is actually Seahouses Lifeboat station.

Looking out to Inner Farne, the rest are further out. Just a little further to the right, one of the trip boats is heading back to Seahouses.
Gentle waves lapping the sand on the beach (didn't realise that Ben had snuck into the frame !) and some very warm sun.
Quite a break from normal.
