If you want to ride down here, you have to carry your mountain bike up 500 metres in altitude. This is because the small gondolas do not fit bikes.

Wer hier abfahren will, muss sein Mountainbike 500 Höhenmeter hinauftragen. Denn in die kleinen Gondeln passen keine Bikes.

The Sassolungo group in autumn. The aim of our day trip was the Toni-Demez hut in the Sassolungo ridge, which is reached by an adventurous cable car.

Die Langkofel-Gruppe im Herbst. Ziel unseres Tagesausflugs war die Toni-Demez-Hütte in der Langkofel-Scharte, zu der eine abenteuerliche Seilbahn hoch führt.

The adventurous historic stand-up gondola cable car (established in 1960), which leads up to the Toni-Demez hut at 2,685 metres above sea level.

Only 2 people fit in one gondola. The door is locked from the outside!

In eine Gondel passen nur 2 Personen. Die Tür wird von außen verschlossen!

The material cableway leads down to the north side of the Vernagt reservoir (Italy).

Workers on a pole of the Doppelstockbahn Samnaun (Twinliner), which goes from Samnaun (1,778 m, Switzerland) to the Alptrider Sattel (2,486 m). From there there is a connection to the Skigebiet Ischgl (Austria).

The working height should be about 40 metres above ground (150 ladder rungs).
