On November 4th 2008 we adopted an 8 year old shelter cat that has left ever lasting paw prints in our family. We cherish every day we had with the Princess until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year.

Today June 10th marks one year since we lost our beloved Snow White. She is missed and will forever be in our hearts, but when an old cat dies after a long and happy life, we should not grief, but rather celebrate all she has given us.

One thing we learned from Snow White is that even old cats can "learn new tricks" and adapt to changing situations. Like when we took her to her first show at the age of 13 - probably one of the oldest debutantes ever.
She did not win any prizes, but she won many hearts for her sweet and gentle personality - and she clearly enjoyed the experience that gave her something to talk to Rags about, when she got home.

June 10 th was also the birthday of Milly, who was with us for every day of her life from 1994 to 2012. Today 22 years ago I held her in the palm of my hand as a newborn kitten...
She grew up to become the undisputed Queen of the house, and on the picture she has occupied her rightful position in the top bunk above the Princess...
