A statue of a sasquatch, commonly referred to as "Bigfoot." He certainly does have big feet! This statue is located in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest, in Southern Illinois.

Also on this World Day of Photography, my deepest condolences go out to Andy Rodker's family and friends. He was a large part of this community and a great, caring person who loved to share the beautiful scenic pictures of his home country. He will be greatly missed and forever in our prayers and memories. Enjoy eternity Andy even if it breaks our hearts here.

As a wonderful photographer, it is also ironic he should pass on this day of all days.

Note: The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland's building was completed in 1923. It was designed by that city's architecture firm – Walker and Weeks. The allegorical statues in front of the main entrance representing security and integrity were created by Henry Hering. The building imitates Italian Renaissance Palazzo style.

These are the feet of a tall statue that promotes a local grocery store. The statue used to be called “Big John,” when he represented the local Big John chain of grocery stores. But, now that Big Johns is not here anymore, somebody bought the old statue and renamed him the “Little Giant.”
