Romanesque/Early Christian and Norman (sometimes described as Early English). It features local grey Galloway granite with red sandstone dressings. It also has a distinctive crossing tower (inspired by the 14th-century tower of St Monans Parish Church in Fife)&lt;br /&gt;

To the right of the land in the distance is the opening to the Atlantic Ocean,&lt;br /&gt;

he Kyle of Tongue Causeway is a 3.8 km (2.4 mile) long roadway that spans the shallow Kyle of Tongue sea loch on the north coast of Sutherland, in the Scottish Highlands. It forms a vital part of the A838 trunk road, connecting the villages of Tongue and Melness, and is a highlight on the North Coast 500 (NC500) scenic driving route.&lt;br /&gt;

A series of rocks known as the "Maidens of Turnberry" form a natural harbour.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Trumpan Church, Isle of Skye, which is probably from 1330s and it lasted until 1578 when the doors were barred and the thatched roof set on fire with a congregation of MacLeods at worship inside, this atrocity by the Macdonald clan was retribution for an attack on clan members on the isle of Eigg&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Standing at 55 metres high, the ‘old man’ component of the name derives from the fact that when seen from the front, the rocky pinnacle and The Storr behind it create the face of a haggard and craggy old man.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Trotternish  is the northernmost peninsula of the Island and the ridge extends for the majority of its length 30 kilometres (20 miles) It also contains other major features such as the  and Kilt Rock!&lt;br /&gt;

Merchant ships tied up on both sides of the river and steps for access can be seen built into the wall!&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
"Loch Fyne" has a capicity of 200 passengers and 36 cars,&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Having driven The Road to the Isles from Fort William were waiting to drive aboard for a pleasant trip across the Sound of Sleat and a few days on the island!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The Pip is the view immediately behind me, which consists of Loch Ba and Rannoch Moor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A warm and sunny day with no breeze which is unusual in this area,&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I find a large view quite rewarding,&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Out in the bay the tide has turned and has started its inward journey, so the few hardy souls on the beach will need to leave before the arrival of the storm or the tide, &lt;br /&gt;
On the right of the image is St Andrews Church.   Of medieval origins, the church is a grade I listed building, well known for its leaning tower, Apparently if a plumb line is dropped from the north side of the 78ft tower it would fall 3 feet away from the building, See pip,&lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
Burnham Pier is the shortest in England,&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Centre of the image is the Higher 98ft (30 m) Lighthouse which is a Grade II listed building.  However, it is no longer functional as a lighthouse.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The slipway which crosses the image is used by  RNLI Lifeboats, and the BARB Rescue Hover crafts for launch and retrieval&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
 In 16.9 so I recommend a large view&lt;/div&gt;</description>
