The Super Pit in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. It is the largest gold open pit in the country and produces 850 000 ounces of gold each year. The trucks at the bottom of the pit (on the right) are 500 metres below ground level and each truck weighs about 400 tonnes when loaded.
