In the picture you can see  the A830 road bridge  and the railway bridge over the Caledonian Canal have been swung open to allow her to pass through them.  On the far left is the edge of the signal box that controls the railway bridge.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Neptune's Staircase, designed by Thomas Telford is a series of eight locks and is the longest staircase lock in the country.&lt;br /&gt;
