A lovely splash of bright yellow when you happen to spot one hiding in the grasses.  Found this one west of Nanton, Alberta, recently.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

All repeats - but we NEED these cheery colours to brighten our temporary return to winter, LOL.  I think my favourite of these is number 4, Scouring-rush.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

We don't see many of these plants in the city, so it's always a pleasure when they are found.  Flowers are 10-15 mm across, growing April-early June.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
