This is Polychrome Pass in Denali National Park, Alaska. We were there in 2015 to celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary. We had camped at Sanctuary River and after setting up camp caught the park bus to Toklat, at the end of Polychrome Pass where the bus stopped and allowed us time to wander for a while.

Taken along the Park Road in Denali National Park, Alaska. When we were there in 2015 there were fires in the park and it was very hazy and samoky.

I believe this is the Yukon Saxifrage, butI stand to be corrected. It was photographed along thee Harding Icefields trail in the Exit Glacier section of Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska.

My apologies for sporadic posting and commenting the last few days. My son and I have been installing new windows in our house and have been very busy with that and visiting.

Muskeg along the Auke Nu trail in Tongass National Forest, Alaska, the photo taken on a 2015 trip to Alaska. We had stopped at Juneau for ferry repairs and spent the time hiking.

Taken on a 2015 trip to Alaska, this was along the Auke Nu trail near Juneau - note the Red-breasted Sapsucker on the tree, though unfortunately this was as close as I could get.

When in Alaska for our 45th wedding anniversary in 2015, we spent several days in the Exit Glacier area of Kenai Fjords Naitonal Park. The photo is from our hike up the Harding Icefields trail there.
