two tiny figures stand at the bottom of this panel of c16 swiss armorial glass: they seem to be in a butchers shop; this one holds a gold vase, is well dressed, and stands before a counter upon which rests a swan: other dead birds hang behind him. he may be the donor and the arms his.

one c13 purbeck marble bowl rests on the upturned remains of another, which had small pillars surrounding the remaining core. the base of this second font is in the churchyard.
