I'm not sure why these spindle things on wall clocks ever existed. I've never seen one in the wild.

Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3000 X 3150 pixels.

Oh, and I don't think I ever shared this instrumental from many years ago, which provided the title to this particular series. (Virginia Mayhew, USA-born: 1959)

Mixes three different layers of "Distort: Spherize," using the Difference Mode. Then adds some "Blur: Radial Blur." Additions and touch-ups with Transform, Eraser and Clone Stamp.
