A change from my recent car images. This is my new car (since Easter). it is an electric car called an Omoda E5, from the Chinese car-maker Chery. I'm very impressed so far, though still learning my way around some of the software.

The massive fires of 2019 left the small community of Mallacoota isolated and all but the firefighters needing to be rescued by Navy ships. The fires also highlighted the vulnerability of the power supply, with blackouts common as the township is at the end of a 240km power line through bushland. As a consequence, this 1 MWh community battery with a back-up generator has been installed since the fires. This was taken through the fence surrounding it.
