The RNLI gets called to all sorts of emergencies often reports of objects in the water near to the shore. This one really took us by surprise ! We are hoping that Seahouses Coastguard Rescue Team can make contact with the strange craft.

[That's an inshore RNLI "D" class lifeboat ... I can't quite make out the hull number]

It's almost high tide, so only a tiny patch of beach.
Just above the high tide mark were several pieces of driftwood, this was probably the biggest single lump.
A very short distance to the right is where the Briardene meets the North Sea.

Apart from several short tazzes around the beach, Bella had great fun attempting to dig to Australia. The excavated sand was spread around ...
One hole was dug close enough to some feet that the person concerned "slid" into the hole, I was laughing too much to catch that on camera.
