somehow brought to mind the story of the Painted ladies in San Francisco ..
link explains why they received that name ..

they are unusual and exquisite ..

so in my imagination, these Daffs are just as beautiful ..

- it still changes color
- to the left of this Florida Fall tree
- Great Blue Heron preening while the wind blows off the lake

Hollis Gardens at Lake Mirror in Lakeland, Florida, USA contains fountains, sculptures, benches, flowers of all kinds, tropical & native plants and also this garden ..
vegetables and herbs are planted with care, as are all others here ..
if you are in the area & it is a lovely day, take your camera (you wouldn't be without it!)...
sit on one of the benches and watch for all kinds of photo ops !
if you live across the pond, guess you'll just have to send us photos of the beautiful places we would love to see!
