This is the "new" crossing over the River Almond (its older neighbour was built around 1500) about a mile inland from the old village of Cramond. This bridge carries the A90 north out of Edinburgh.

Connel Bridge

Connel Bridge spans Loch Etive between Connel and North Connel. It was originally a railway bridge for the Connel to Ballachulish branch line. Later it was shared between road and rail, but now its just a single track road bridge. Below the bridge you can see the Falls of Lora, which (as you can see) isn't a waterfall, but rather its a set of rapids that is caused by water flowing out of the upper part of Loch Etive into the lower part over a rocky shelf when the tide drops so that the water in the upper part is higher than that in the lower part.
