The first groups of snowdrop flower buds for 2025 poking up in the front lawn, became visible a few days after the snow melted.
Finally ! - everything seems to be much slower this year !
I'll get them again when the flowers actually open.
Plenty of other bulbs are starting to show above ground, so I'll need to watch where I'm putting my feet until they get a bit larger / more obvious.

Burst of fine weather has encouraged the rowan [mountain ash] to start opening up a few buds.

Not too impressed with the composition of this one, may have another attempt shortly.

Rowan flowers [Mountain Ash] still just in bud.

Rowan pollen has an "interesting" scent, I'm not quite sure how best to describe it. Once smelt, I don't think it is easily forgotten.

Just opened blossom and leaves, with a few more buds, on a branch of the flowering sweet cherry. I don't know the actual variety, other than it may have been planted and first trained as much as 40 years ago.
