BBC infographic / map showing the number of undersea cables around the UK - showing connections to both Europe and the rest of the world, also on the map are some of the Baltic Sea & Scandinavian links. Most of the ones shown are for telecommunications, there's another network of electrical inter-connectors - not to forget the gas pipelines ---
Sadly, such important interconnections are somewhat vulnerable to hostile actors as well as natural accidents / weather events.

Looks pretty secure, but I'm not a professional rigger.

The dining "system" has just left the ground, and the onlookers are enjoying the even as much as the diners.

It looks like everyone is securely strapped in.

Just to make sure everyone understands, we DID NOT take part in this event, only watched and recorded. I hesitate to think about both the food quality and the price. Probably can't afford it.
