Looking southwards along Redcar Prom, from near to The Stray [cafe].

There's a lot of substantial groynes here, which arrest the southwards longshore drift of the beach materials [sand, pebbles - and at the moment, loads of smelly seaweed]

The view from the carpark, brutalist containers are a fairly recent addition, preventing a view of the nearby rocks. [I think they are storage for the fishing fleet]
The light grey "shed" is actually Seahouses Lifeboat station.

Sadly almost all of the orange & redness went while I was finding my camera.

Morning twilight began at 07:11 with actual sunrise at 07:53 on 21st November 2025.

On the cold side atm and the wrong time of year for much in the way of a "dawn chorus" --- however, some "high energy" bird food will be put out shortly.
Later on the birds were mobbing the feeders, but politely !

Apart from several short tazzes around the beach, Bella had great fun attempting to dig to Australia. The excavated sand was spread around ...
One hole was dug close enough to some feet that the person concerned "slid" into the hole, I was laughing too much to catch that on camera.
