For "Macro Mondays" group topic #288, 19 December 2022 : Topic "Fluted".

Fluted edge of Australian 20C coin. The full coin (28mm across, 2mm thick) is shown in the PiP. This macro image taken with a reversed 28mm prime lens. Both images taken with the same lens, though that of the full coin with the lens fitted normally.

Singapore 10 cent piece, about 15mm across. This was intended for the Macro Monday group before the recent problems with ipernity, the theme "This time it should be a close-up (macro) of the number 10". Better late than never I guess!

I've just bought some extension tubes to play around with, this was taken with an old manual 50mm lens.
