Fred Hatt, a NYC artist, has been experimenting with painting negative images, -painting the colors opposite what we actually see, and then digitally reversing the image to find how close he can come to the original ( &lt;a href="http://fredhatt.com/blog/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;fredhatt.com/blog/&lt;/a&gt; ). He's being careful to paint the complementary colors of what he actually sees, hence a negative image.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Here I'm being less careful but, none the less, it was a fun experiment!&lt;br /&gt;
