glass of c.1859 in the south chapel. the glass is probably by heaton and butler, was in memory of priscilla leigh +1858, and shows the influence of william wailes on their work before bayne joined the firm

the somewhat battered and reassembled purbeck marble tomb chest of thomas heigham +1531 carries three remaining brasses , one added later naming anthony heyham +1540 and wife. the original achievements have been cut back, and one seems to have borne the pallium, there are also bases for figures that don't line up with the panels, so this may be a reused c15 chest tomb from a monastery nearby.

the chancel was given good furnishings in the 1854 restoration, including minton tiles, nicely carved stalls, and this elegantly curved communion rail. ewan christian was probably involved with the work.
