Brought forward, at Alan's suggestion, for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "ALREADY UPLOADED - ANYTHING GOES!

Originally brought forward for the Vintage Photo Theme Park theme of "Flappers". The cloche hat seems to be figuring very prominently!
Ivy's brother, Edwin (Charlie) Earp, emigrated to Australia in the early 1920's and this picture was sent out from England. This was sent to me by my second cousin in Australia, Erin Hobson (met online) along with many other wonderful photos.
Ivy was my mother's first cousin.

Wedding photo of Ivy Howard and Len Gregory. This is my mother's Uncle Len, my grandfather's brother.
His granddaughter, told me that he was a fireman in civilian life and then stayed in London during the blitz in WW2 as a firefighter. In WW1 he was in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers and his dog tags give the number 40877RDF

As the war went on men were placed in regiments according to numerical need, and bore no relation to their own origins. Jocks in English regiments, English in Welsh and so on.

She has a very sweet face, but I'm not quite sure why she has received so many views.
Her "pudding basin hat" was popular around 1910, although her suit looks a little later than that, to me.

Purchased at Kennedy Brothers antique store in Vergennes, Vermont.
Stamped on the back - Berkshire Studio, North Adams, Mass.

I actually never really saw her that way, but since I have had many comments over the years with people seeing her as creepy, and failing any other likely spooky children images, here she is!
This is a favorite - I love her little face and her high button boots, her hat and her rather stringy hair.
I bought this years ago in Connecticut. She always reminded me of Shelly Duval. : )
