To the right you can see the Bornholm flag (green cross on red) fluttering in the crisp afternoon breeze on a cold and sunny day. The chimneys in the background belong to an old smokehouse - there used to be hundreds on the island to make gold from silver, i. e. to smoke herrings. Only very few are still in use today, some of which have restaurants attached where they offer all-you-can-eat buffet lunches during the tourist season (May - September).&lt;/div&gt;</description>
