These icicles were right next to the front stairs of our porch, and even though I've taken lots of icicle pictures, these are so perfect that I just had to share them! :)

Yesterday when I braved the cold to look around and take pictures, I discovered some really cool icicles adorning our shop's eaves. They are an interesting shape, being very broad and thick. Though I took pictures yesterday, I came back today so I could make this my Picture of the Day! :)

Today I have two other pictures, one shows blackberry thorns with frost crystals, and the other shows icicles dripping down blackberry leaves! :D ENJOY! (Sorry for the short posts and lack of comments, I'm buried in a project!)

This was a really cool find! I saw all the icicles on the eaves above the blackberry bushes, so I looked to see if any icicles had formed on the bushes too...and they had! So much fun!!

Today's surprise was waiting for me when I looked out our bedroom back door, which opens up onto our tiny upstairs deck. The eves were bristling with icicles and they were brilliant with the sun shining on them! I was so excited I ran in to tell Steve so he could see too. Both of us had a lot of fun taking pictures!

It's been very cold here and though it wasn't 18 degrees like the night before last, walking around in 30 degree weather was definitely on the nippy side! I know better than to go out without bundling up, so I looked like a stuffed tick as I left the house--but I was warm! :D

The sun was shining so brightly, twinkling off everything in sight, and though I had an idea of what I wanted, I saw this frost on 1/4" garden netting and my picture of the day was here! I have a slightly different one below which shows another focus point and softer bokeh, but I think this one is stronger. Also, please visit my next picture to see another image I captured today!

It's not cold enough for icicles today but still very chilly and rainy. Perhaps the weather is reflecting the view of the ugliness of our soon-to-be-evicted-six-year-old-spoiled-president-who-should-have-never-been. Cannot even BELIEVE the outrages and horrors of the past couple of days. It's just shocking that there are actually millions upon millions who think that fool should be in charge. I loathe politics with a passion...it's no wonder why.

Down at our little granite valley, there are various outcroppings of rock. One icy morning while wandering around looking for fun stuff to photograph, I found icicles under one of the outcroppings! I thought it would be really fun to post this picture today because of its similarity to the resin droplet I also put up tonight! :)
