An icm shot from a while back. I think this is most likely taken in West Wycombe Park but I am checking :-))

I really don't have much of a clue as to the make of this car!

But, looking at photos taken by other photographers at the event I am wondering if it could possibly be a 3-litre 'Fronty-Ford Indianapolis' from 1924 :-)

I have been trying ever so hard this evening to get up-to-date here on ipernity! But, although getting close, I have failed to meet my target :-(

So, I am having a few minutes break in order to upload something slightly different!

In the September 2013 issue of ‘Digital Photo’ magazine there is a “Make Plastic Fantastic” tutorial. You can use a camera (obviously) plus a tripod, computer laptop screen, plastic objects, circular polarising filter. The photo in the mag is of 8 multi-coloured forks and I am working on something similar :-)

But, I had the idea that rather than putting the camera on a tripod I could try a little icm here!

And, I was a little stunned by this result. There was only one fork.........honest :-)))

I love the fact that here on ipernity you have the choice on how to view photos :-)

Often I think viewing on white is more than ok :-)

But,

with this shot I think it, possibly, works a little better on black. Please press 'z' :-)

I’m not sure when icm becomes panning or vice versa :-))) Anyway, I figured that if I followed the horses keeping them in the viewfinder and selected a fairly slow shutter speed (1/25 second) then I might get a fair amount of blur! I was pleased with this shot and it was probably more luck than judgment that resulted in varying degrees of blur with the lead horse’s face being fairly clear :-) I particularly like the way some of the horse’s legs are ‘moving’.
