An installed cabinet on the side of a 48cl loco. Two radio boxes, one for 420 MHz and the other for 450 MHz plus a power supply and control box. September 1994.

Installing loco radio gear in 48cl locos at Cardiff workshops. 420 MHz skate antenna plus swarf from the drilling on the roof of a 48cl. A 450 MHz one was also fitted for a nationally used simplex channel. September 1994.

Hard to return now. The address of the radio comms installation depot of my former employer, PMG/Telecom Australia. The old single story brick and corrugated asbestos sheet roofed factory/warehouse building is gone, see note.
