Lima downtown is amazing, always full of surprises. Processions and parades happens frequently. The picture shows a young lady with Dominican order costume, burning incense, blowing air to maintain the fire and producing a lot of smoke.Taked in front of Santo Domingo´s church celebrating anniversary of San MArtin de Porres birth They walk back never giving their backs to the saint in procession, love to shot this ladies , in this case with panasonic, lumix , lf1

Arequipa Ave was builded in 1920, at its blocks were builded the most beautiful mansions in republican times. At this days many of this mansions were transformed in giants of glass. The photo shows details of an oldie mansion between to giants united by a bridge. HFF and nice weekend

Common in many oldie houses in Lima downtown. In this dump (don´t know if it is the better word) lives 60 families. They coexist with ruins of the novitiate of Santo Domingo´s convent. Visual contact with the dog¡¡ HFF all my ipernity friends

While visiting Monserrat district, one of the oldiest in LIma downtown, we found a procession with this ladies called SAHUMADORA, they burn incense to give a special mood to the procession. In this one visual contact through the smoke. I try this one in BW but loose that rich green of her coat
