The Sunday Challenge:

Pick 3 of something, whatever subject you want
3 buttons
3 glasses
3 banana's
3 people
3 snowmen etc.

they can be matching or not... it doesn't matter, as long as the item is the same.

Now the challenge bit is to have your picture focused on only 1 of your items and do some magic you have learned here, b&w, s/c, manual focus, that sort of thing.

I used forced perspective, as the front figurine is only half the size of the back ones.

Chinchero, Peru is a village at an altitude of approximately 12,500 feet in which many of the locals still dress in traditional attire. The women, particularly unmarried ones, braid their hair and wear woven clothing and red felt hats. There are a number of weaving cooperatives in the village that allow the women to earn an income.

Prostitution in Quito, Ecuador is legal. This woman told me that since it became legal, women have been able to unionize and look out for each other. They do not need johns or pimps for protection. They are not hassled by corrupt police looking for favors to prevent arrest. They are required to have health screenings on a regular basis. They feel much safer and do not feel like marginalized citizens.

Non-professional photographers were limited to a 6 inch 200 mm lens which meant slow glass and high ISO. Grainy shots were inevitable.
