st.thomas. the best glass in the church is that hidden behind the new organ in the north chapel, the twelve apostles of 1871 by clayton and bell, with wonderfully individual faces. pearson dealt with the restoration and chose the firm.

death does not apparently part william and elizabeth green, 1766. the graveyard here is especially rich in tombstone imagery, this is a good example of a design local to kent and the surrounding areas; a simple but effective design with enjoyable lettering on a stone that retains a human shape
