A Nile Crocodile swims alongside the frantic wildebeest crossing the Mara River in Kenya. Normally, one or two of the wildebeest would become his dinner. However, this day, he was content to watch his dinner pass him by. Perhaps he had recently had his fill of wildebeest. In any event, these wildebeest were extremely lucky that he allowed them to pass unscathed.

This young wildebeest swam all the way across the Mara River without being eaten by crocodiles. It bleated for its mother when it reached the other side. Becoming confused, it swam back across the Mara River. It mixed in with the other wildebeest waiting to cross and we never saw it again.

There was one road to the river crossing and many jeeps that wanted to get in position to view it. However, the wildebeests had to get there first so the jeeps waited their turn.
