A monument in front of the entrance to the factory. A security guy looked immediately after me and told me, that it's not allowed to take pictures in the other direction to the factory ;-)

A final photo of the abandoned nickel plant "Punta Gorda" near Moa. I just found another photo which I made in 2011, an overview from the distance, when we only passed the area (see PiP). Soon all will be gone and history. Maybe the chimneys will survive like it happens with most of all sugar mills.

There would have been interesting perspectives from inside. As you can imagine, I would have entered, but there were some workers up in the sceleton, cutting the steel beams to scrap, and this was too scary.
