The connections with the film have led to the area becoming a tourist attraction.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Pat Cohan’s Bar as seen in the film has been tarted up and sells itself today as a Gastro Pub!&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The redevelopment of the area into a retail park &amp; cinema complex took place in the mid-90s and involved a new road lay-out with multiple traffic lights and one-way systems.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The clock tower is a fine feature &amp; would have been important to know the time when it was a market but sadly today the clock is not functioning.&lt;br /&gt;

It no longer sells Thorne-brewed Darley's Ales though.&lt;br /&gt;
