Pumpkin Now Mashed/Pureed, Ready for Storage

We were gifted with a couple of nice, small pumpkins from a friend's farm.

We will make pumpkin pie soon, but in the meantime, we had to at least prepare the pumpkin for pie-making. While mashing seemed nice, the hand-blender (on right) was the best tool for the job.

So, here is a series of photos of the process.

We were "gifted" some home-raised pumpins. They will become pie, in due time.

Taken with my (recent) purchased macro lens on the Panasonic GX85 (GX80) micro 4/3. Processed with GIMP.
