I had travelled up the mountain on this train but the conditions were so cold that the operators sent it back immediately due to worries about the water in the tender and its connections becoming frozen if they waited for an hour or so. This is currently the oldest locomotive operating on this line, having been built in 1875 at the Manchester Locomotive Works and subsequently rebuilt after the major fire of 1895.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
