This used to be a restaurant.
Fire has destroyed it.
Early 15 Jan 2014 (about 5am), a fire engulfed this popular spot.
Don't recall how many Fire Departments responded .. but today when I drove by to see this, even with car windows up - the burned odor was overwhelming.
Being a small town, many residents know the owner and his family.
A fund has already been started at a local bank.
It will be quite some time before this is fixed, but the owner (having been in business 20yrs) seems like he is going to re-build.

the pier stretches out into Tampa Bay..
at the end of the pier, on the right, is the restaurant..
fisherpersons & brown pelicans to the left, please..
pelicans will walk; wait; perhaps be given a morsel or might even snatch it..
watching them is a lot of fun..
see that benches have been added to the pier..
nice touch..
then one can sit & enjoy the old pier & the newer Sunshine Skyway Bridge in the distance..

- recent re-model
- food is same ... down home Southern Diner style
- never had a meal not happy with, regardless of some online comments
- always take out of town visitors there
- anyone can go to a chain restaurant
- but, you won't find another Reececliff ... at least not that I know of !
