I recently visited Santa Catalina Convent at Arequipa, 600 miles south from Lima
A lovely city with fantastic weather, is called The withe city because many of its oldie houses and buildings were made with a vulcanic stone called sillar.(white stone)
Santa Catalina Convent (in honour to Santa Caterina of Siena) was builded in 1579 and could be visited. Is a city inside the city of Arequipa.
At the covent blue and red colours fight for predominance. So my next several shots try to sample this beautiful colours inside the Convent.
