Taken a week ago during a walk along part of the coast about 2 miles from where I live. This wharf and storage site is situated right on the edge of the park. It's been there ever since I can remember and did a roaring trade in marine dredged aggregates. It now looks as if it's being demolished.

Taken from Southsea sea front just after midday, whilst I was on a walk last Tuesday. You can see a huge container ship on the horizon together with some smaller ships and an old fort.

Taken over the old oyster beds on Hayling Island, Hampshire.

The Hayling Island Oyster Beds are former oyster farming lagoons on the northwest coast of the island, historically important since Roman times but now a significant wildlife habitat and nature reserve, particularly for seabirds.

We took the train to Littlehampton today and after a quick look at the town centre, had a leisurely walk along the Prom. The large building with the glass roof is the café where we stopped for coffee and cake (an essential part of the day)..!!

Taken from The Hard, Portsmouth, looking over to the tower blocks and church spire in Gosport.

If you view large, and look in the direction of the church you can see a green boat moored alongside.......it used to be a lightship, but now houses a restaurant.

Edit 17th Sep. Thanks to Alby for pointing out my stupid mistake. I should have looked closer at my own photo. It is, of course the Gosport Ferry.

Another shot taken from the road bridge, but looking in the other direction this time. In the distance you can see the Old Mill and the Royal Oak pub and a couple of houses.

Those of you who have been following my photos will know that this is one of my favourite places.
