Wenn man so gedankenverloren im Museum sitzt und den Klängen lauscht, die da aus den Kopfhörern strömen, entdeckt man plötzlich Formen und Figuren, die man glaubt festhalten zu müssen.

Stadtlounge by Pipilotti Rist & Carlos Martinez (2005).
The Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist and the architect Carlos Martinez designed the city lounge as a public "living room" dipped in red, which is laid over the entire area like a carpet.
The floor covering of red-dyed plastic granules encases the floor area and the public furnishing such as seatings, sculptures and a fountains.
With an area of 4'600 m2, the lounge composes all the squares and rest areas of the area into an optically uniform whole.
