This is Hohestrasse, or literally "High Street" in Koln, which by the time I took this photo had mostly been closed for the night. I walked along it anyway, though, as I had nothing better to do. I had to catch the sleeper train for Prague later in the night.

Here's a black and white film version of my earlier cameraphone shot (if you've seen it). I thought that given the white-to-grey-to-silver coloring of Centrum Galerie, this would come out reasonably well. I guess it's up to you to judge.

I shot this more or less on a whim, and got exactly what I wanted. This is one of my favorite semi-abstract shots this year, shot out the window of Centrum Chodov, and capturing Sidliste Chodov in the process, along with the motorway.

I've only occassionally shopped here, but it nevertheless provides me with another opportunity to show off the beautiful architecture of central Prague. :-) In actuality, Cerna Ruze, or the "Black Rose," represents two eras of architecture, the 1840's, and the 1930's, the shopping center being actually made up of two buildings.
