AWAY FROM THEIR COLD STATE -

AND IF YOU WORKED AND WENT TO LUNCH -
THERE THEY WERE -

WE HAD A LIMITED TIME FOR LUNCH, BUT PEOPLE WHO HAD A CHOICE -

OH -
POKEY -
WEIRD DRIVERS -

OKAY - DON'T LIVE THERE ANYMORE -
AND HAVE FEATHERED SNOWBIRDS NOW -

WE GOT A COUPLE OF INCHES -

BUT LOOK WHERE IT CROSSES A BLUE RECTANGLE -

From the 'day after it snowed' ... Juncos come in Winter .. some around here call them 'snowbirds' -

- some streets are clear, but most have black ice

** as of 5:30pm EST we have found out 2inches graced our area **
But, not all of North Carolina got snow - it came from the Coast and stopped at Whitsett; have been through there and could tell you how to get there, but not a clue what is in the town.

9 Dec 2017 - started again ..
Doesn't look like much will remain ..
But got a Dusting of the Fir tree ..
And then, turned and made a b-line for the warmth of our home !

Bluebirds perched in White Ash tree -

when it did -
all birds got as much available food as possible -
then, like waving a magic wand -
they were gone -

after 5-6 inches of snow fell -
not used to this much snow -
but, it is fluffy - powdery stuff -

now, blowing off trees -
makes it seem as though it is snowing again -

it snowed ..
began between 1 and 2PM EST ..
last photo taken at 5PM EST ..
it is still snowing, but supposed to mix with sleet ..
since it has been so long ..
took lots of photos ..
living in a Tropical climate ..
does not give one the opportunity ..
to experience this change in Nature ..
photos are cropped and collage done in PicMonkey ..
