She was built for that firm in 1912, and sailed under Shenango colors until sold in 1967. The ship was repowered in 1952, and had significant work done in 1971. After her Shenango career she was owned and sailed by the Interlake, Cleveland Cliffs, & American Bulk Shipping fleets. <a href="http://wellandcanal.ca/shiparc/cliffs/williampsnyderjr/snyderscrap4.htm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Scrapped in 1988</a>.<br /> <br /> Bowling Green University's <b>Historical Collections of the Great Lakes</b> has a large collection of materials from this ship.<br /> <br /> Detroit in the background.
