good leadwork on the dormers of 1874, though the timber framed lanterns on the mission house of the 1890s continue to decay at an alarming rate. this building badly needs some t.l.c. and is not getting it from its current owners

the current owners of this, the best of james brooks tractarian group of churches in this area, seem not to be in sympathy at all with the building, which is in a bad way and getting worse. the church dates from 1867-71, the other buildings around this courtyard from 1865-98

now in a bad state of decay, especially the high glazed lantern, and seemingly unloved by the african evangelical group who occupy it [and who have painted the interior pink] , this is probably the best group of buildings by james brooks left.

a great tractarian grouping, sad to see that lantern and dormers are in a rapid state of decay. the church belongs to an african sect who have not dealt with the interior kindly, removing the reredos statues and painting the interior pink. generally padlocked except for very evangelical services. better than demolition, but really needs work.
