&lt;br /&gt;
The present concourse shown here and the main platforms date from the 1912 expansion of the station, which included Bell's wrought iron canopies over the lengthy platforms 5 and 6. This new roofed concourse was built and the new station entrance included the original canopy from the old entrance.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Facilities include a pre-1915 Edwardian post box (notice the ER VII) although whether these days it is regularly emptied I'm not sure and a Victorian water fountain although that looks defunct - the vandals took the handles!.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The rather straight-backed benches on the right don't look so comfortable.&lt;br /&gt;

The line onward to Eisenerz is currently closed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Diesel railcar 5081.564-6 is seen after arrival. The station used to be the place where iron ore was loaded onto trains that ran over the former rack line to Vordenberg, steam-hauled until 1978   &amp; diesel-hauled until closure in 1988. It was also a passenger station, although there was no exit onto public roads/trails, only to the internal road system of the mine.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Today the output of the open-cast mine is transported by rail but northwards rather than over Präbichl summit.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
45420 was built in 1937 by Armstrong Whitworth and was withdrawn from Newton Heath shed 3 weeks after this shot when the shed closed to steam. Like many of the final survivors of the steam era it was cut up at Draper's scrapyard in Hull in early 1969.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

&lt;br /&gt;
45420 was built in 1937 by Armstrong Whitworth and was withdrawn from Newton Heath shed 3 weeks after this shot when the shed closed to steam. Like many of the final survivors of the steam era it was cut up at Draper's scrapyard in Hull in early 1969.&lt;/div&gt;</media:text>

Note the 2 benches both of the same design but one GWR - pre-1948, the other BR (W) - post 1948. Both Swindon-made.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Note that it is called Nazareth on the scene. Legend has it that the town derives its name from a small wooden statue of the Virgin Mary brought from Nazareth in the Holy Land to Spain, and then to Portugal in 711 by a monk, Romano, accompanied by Roderic, the last Visigoth king.&lt;br /&gt;
