Seagulls on the beach. I'd suggest viewing large.
Sadly, the H5N1 bird flu reached Australia several weeks ago, the last continent to have it. There now are daily reports on its spread and, when I see sights such as this, it is concerning what it may do to our wild birds.

Today was a lovely winter's day, so I wandered off and took a few images. This is looking north over the Clyde River and Batemans Bay. Best viewed large.
Hoping that none of the ipernity group are being affected by the dreadful fires in Europe (and Canada).

These large cumulus clouds were formed by a cool airstream heading north over a warm ocean current heading south, They were running parallel to the coast, so any showers remained offshore.

Poplar trees are not seen in the warmer areas of Australia, but in the cooler southern areas they are fairly common. I saw these on the Southern Tablelands while on my recent travels, as we head into Autumn and at an altitude of about 600 metres. Happy Fence Friday, everyone, and have a great weekend.
