As a woman enters an outhouse, she reaches back to close the door and sees that someone taking her photo. You can tell by the look on her face that she's annoyed at the photographer.

This picture comes from a real photo postcard that's glued to a piece of black paper. Although the back of the card -- and any message or other information that may be there -- isn't visible, the dealer's notation calls this a "[B]rownie Photo at Creek Run Farm."

A snapshot of a woman who was understandably annoyed at having her picture taken while she was eating. The typewritten date on the back of the photo is "Aug. 27, 1952."
Notice, too, that there's another women who's barely visible in the background, She's walking past a couple of small structures, which may be outhouses or storage buildings.

Embossed at lower right: "Felker's Studio, Easton, Pa."
Handwritten name and date on the back of this real photo postcard: "Harry Johnson Everitt. April 8th, 1917."
With their frowns and staring eyes, this family doesn't appear to be enjoying their photo session. I'm not sure if Harry Johnson Everitt is the name of the father or the son.

In this undated real photo postcard, a girl playing the part of Lady Liberty stands in a decorated car and holds her torch high as she poses for the photographer. A man and a woman (Lady Liberty's parents?) in the front seat of the car and three girls (her sisters?) in the back seat are also dressed in patriotic garb and seem to be awaiting the start of a parade (note the second vehicle behind this car). The word "Liberty" appears on the windshield of the car and on Lady Liberty's cap.

If you look closely (mouse over the image above to see an enlarged view of the occupants of the car), you'll notice that no one seems to be too enthusiastic about their participation in the parade--Lady Liberty is frowning, her mother is givng the photographer an icy look, the kids in the back don't seem happy, and dad is hiding his face. I certainly hope their moods changed once the parade began!
