The Dose Fall near Häselgehr within the valley of Lech (Tyrol, Austria). (The waterfall rises from the small cave at the top left of the picture. It only flows from 23 April to 11 November. Naturally, many legends entwine around this peculiarity. It is scientifically assumed that it is fed by an underground meltwater lake that begins to overflow in mid-April.)

Der Doser Wasserfall bei Häselgehr im Lechtal (Tirol, Österreich). (Der Wasserfall entspringt aus der kleinen Höhle links oben im Bild. Es fließt nur vom 23. April bis zum 11. November. Naturgemäß ranken sich viele Sagen um diese Besonderheit. Wissenschaftlich wird vermutet, dass er aus einem unterirdischen Schmelzwassersee gespeist wird, der Mitte April überzulaufen beginnt.)

The flood of the river Fieberbrunner Ache on 1st of June 2013, captured in St. Johann i.T. (Tyrol, Austria). Due to the snow melting in the mountains April/May/June always are critical months here. In the case of additional heavy showers "the dragon awakes".

Das große Hochwasser der Fieberbrunner Ache am 01. Juni 2013, aufgenommen in St. Johann i.T. (Tirol, Österreich). Aufgrund der Schneeschmelze in den Bergen sind April/Mai/Juni sowieso kritische Monate. Wenn zusätzlich ein paar Tage lang stark regnet, sind die Naturgewalten kaum im Zaum zu halten.
