The windy weather has whipped up the narrow parts of the Calf Sound into a real frothy state. [The larger island is the Calf of Man].
It isn't a named storm, but there had been Yellow wind warnings for much of the UK issued on Saturday 22nd February 2025, for the following day - plus some smaller areas were likely to affected by heavy rain.

screenshot taken from a relatively new webcam - on the south coast of the Isle of Man, west of Castletown. There are three webcams at the same site, this one looks out over the sea.
Managed to catch the spray from a wave breaking over the short stack of rocks just offshore, timestamped to early evening on Friday. 3rd October 2025 - so Storm Amy has arrived.

Apart from several short tazzes around the beach, Bella had great fun attempting to dig to Australia. The excavated sand was spread around ...
One hole was dug close enough to some feet that the person concerned "slid" into the hole, I was laughing too much to catch that on camera.
