this looks best at night when the finish doesn't look so tacky, just so long as the coloured lights aren't on. harbour viewing tower beside the tacky '80s style shopping centre of 2001. the tower a millenium tower only built 2000-8 with the council having to come up with 11 million pounds to bail it out; several councillors were forced to resign, the glass external lift had to be removed and a chair escape added to evacuate disabled visitors. it's supposed to last another 20-30 years.
