A visit to Alice Holt Arboretum (near Farnham in Surrey) to see if there was any Autumn colour about........there wasn't..!!

Nevertheless, we had a pleasant walk until the rain arrived with a vengeance, so we retreated to a local garden centre café for a bit of lunch and then called it a day and went home.

It's not often you see my wife and I in the same photo, but I had my tripod with me today and used the self-timer for this shot.

Not a selfie - this was taken by my lovely granddaughter Edie, who used my Oly OM-D EM-1 and my 40-150 f2.8 Pro lens. I can see I'll have to keep a close eye on my cameras and lenses whenever she comes to visit.

Whilst rooting around near an old church I came across on old barn which had been used as a bar/community room of sorts. I realised that by looking through the window I could see myself reflected in another window - and couldn't resist this selfiel. Sorry about that..!!

I'd just like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..!! I also want to apologise for my extended absence - I'm still off work with arm, hand and shoulder problems caused by trapped cervical nerves. I finally get to have an MRI scan at the end of the month. Hopefully I'll be back up and posting early in the new year.
