Schon haben sich in einem kleinen Weiher im benachbarten Mischwald die ersten grünen Teichfrösche (Rana esculenta) versammelt. Die Fortpflanzungszeit wird in den nächsten Tagen beginnen.
Beachte: Alle heimischen Amphibien stehen in Deutschland unter Naturschutz. Da sie mittlerweile leider insgesamt stark gefährdet sind, stehen sie zusätzlich unter Artenschutz. Es ist verboten, sie zu fangen, sie zu stören, ihrem Lebensraum zu entnehmen oder sie andernorts auszusetzen.

The first Common Water frogs (Rana esculenta) have already gathered in a small pond in the neighbouring mixed forest. The breeding season will begin in the next few days.
Note: All native amphibians are protected in Germany. Since they are now unfortunately highly endangered overall, they are also protected species. It is forbidden to catch them, disturb them, take them from their habitat or release them elsewhere.
